February 2015

Materials: Steel, televisions, video, emergency safety blankets, porcelain cats, cake mixer, milk glass, perfume, fabric, party lamps, and projector

This threshold of space presents an identity rift to constant hole of feeling lonely The character is only able to partially communicate with others, instead to sits adjusts and listens. She listens/respects the premeditated infrastructure but only through the collection of ‘personally attached’ trinkets and appliances. As well as consuming the identity as a cat-lady. She cannot seem to find her place in a reality so routine and modest, emergency safety blankets begin to enclose and protect her home and kitten.
